I found Dr. Wolsey to be very competent. My vision is as she predicted.

Dr. Wolsey performed cataract surgery on both of my eyes a few years ago. I was thoroughly impressed with her professionalism, her knowledge, kind demeanor and the results of my surgery. I recently received a letter from her that she will no longer be at The Eye Institute of Utah and sincerely have mixed emotions about that as I was counting on seeing her again if problems should arise. Since I have access to this "Soapbox" I would like to add that in the last 6-8 months, I accompanied my sister there for surgery and I found that things had changed. My sister wasn't able to get Dr. Wolsey for her surgery, but the whole experience being there with her (my sister) seemed like an assembly line - like nobody cared or considered they were working with real people and their fears or comfort.

Dr. Wolsey has been my ophthalmologist for 20 years. Having spent 50 years in the work force, and lived in the USA from Hawaii in the west to Maryland in the east to Florida in the south, I've seen more than a few ophthalmologists in my day, and Dr. Wolsey is by far the best.

I had Dr Wolsey for many years before she turned me over to another Dr at The Eye Institute for my glaucoma. I always enjoyed working with her. She was always professional, treated me with respect and answered all my questions. She did a great job on my cataracts and now I only have to wear readers. I would highly recommend her to anyone.

Dr. Wolsey is awesome. She did my Lasik procedure and I see perfectly now. I don't even have dry eyes or halos at night.

I'm so impressed with Dr. Wolsey, she did my cataract surgery. I will be forever grateful to her, she improved my vision greatly. Dr. Wolsey is very professional, caring, easy to talk to, she's the BEST! I highly recommend her.

I LOVE DR. WOLSEY. SHE IS THE BEST, CONNECTED, COMPETENT, PATIENT, AND SKILLED DOCTOR! IT'S SCARY HAVING SURGERY ON YOUR EYES--SHE REALLY MADE ME FEEL CALM AND CONFIDENT. Dr. Wolsey took the time to explain options for my Lasik, one eye vs. both, and using readers after. I opted still to do both eyes. After almost 3 years my vision is still 20/20 and 90% of the time, I can get by without the readers. Follow-up visits were rushed at times after the initial visits right after the surgery. Still, I don't attribute that to Dr. Wolsey as much as I do to the problem that all doctor offices face nowadays of feeling like you are on a conveyor belt and that they have a quota of patients that they must get through each day.

After getting eye consultation and after eye consultation, especially dealing with something as tricky as Keratoconus which I was diagnosed with several years ago, DR Woolsey and her magnificent team have been nothing short of a godsend. The entire team under Dr Woolsey's supervision with fine toolage have been so informative, supportive, professional- just really great souls that stem from the top of the totem pole in Dr Woolsey. During my years going to The Eye Institute, I worked with Lexi, Jill and Shonda- (Sp). Wonderful and super talented assistants. As for DR Woolsey, what a wonderful and talented physician. She is direct and to the point, something which I admire, especially being from back East, (my people). She knows her stuff and there isn't anyone that I would trust my eyes with than her. As I said, I have been going round and round the blender of eye physicians in SLC, Dr Woolsey stepped up to the plate and hit a home run.Thank you so very much for educating and treating me with the tricky disease of Keratoconus. As the late Tina Turner once said, "You Are Simply The Best".... I feel fortunate to have you in my life...
